Emma is a famous English novel written by Jane Austen. Emma is a novel which told about a beautiful woman named Emma Woodhouse. She is a match maker. Emma opens as if it will be a simple narrative about a young woman who is "handsome, clever, and rich" (p. 7), but it becomes instead a penetrating study of the human capacity for self-deception, self-knowledge, and love.
